Frequently asked questions
- 01No. Many women I work with are returning to exercise after a break or starting Pilates for the first time. Each session is tailored to your ability, and exercises can be adjusted so you feel comfortable and confident as you build strength.
- 02Sessions are delivered live via Zoom. Once you book, you’ll receive a Zoom link by email. At the scheduled time you simply click the link and join the session from your computer, tablet or phone.
- 03Yes. Sessions are designed to be interactive and personalised. I carefully observe your movement and provide guidance and corrections throughout the session, just as I would in person.
- 04All you need is a small space to lie down comfortably and a mat or soft surface. If you have small hand weights, a Pilates ball or resistance band they can be useful, but they are not essential. I will guide you using simple alternatives if needed.
- 05Many clients come to Pilates specifically to improve mobility, reduce discomfort and build strength safely. We begin with a consultation so I can understand your body and adapt exercises to suit your needs.
- 06Zoom is very simple to use. Once you receive your session link, you simply click it at the scheduled time and it opens automatically. I’m happy to guide you through the process if it’s your first time.
